• Molla Cami: According to Cami, thorns signify a man of violence or a person advocating for "fitna" (discord). He notes that because of their sharpness, thorns can represent physical pain or illness, while their tangled nature suggests a stagnation in business affairs.

• Nablusi: Nablusi equates thorns with a harsh man or a harmful innovation in faith. He suggests that a prick from a thorn indicates that the dreamer will be disturbed by something they dislike or fall into a period of social trial.
