Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (a.s.):
To see yourself performing ablution (wudu) while someone is watching you indicates that your actions will inspire someone else to repent.

Allama Majlisi:
To perform ablution in a dream means you will be safe from the burden of other people’s debts or favors, and your needs will be fulfilled without dependence on others.

The Author:
To perform ablution with clean and clear water symbolizes success and the fulfillment of one’s desires.
If the water is impure, the interpretation is the opposite.

Kirmani:
Performing ablution with clear water implies joy after sorrow, safety after fear, repayment of debt, and recovery from illness.

Jabir al-Maghribi:
To take ablution for prayer and then lose it (i.e., break it) indicates helplessness and distress as a result of an action or decision.

Nabulsi:
Seeing yourself taking ablution repeatedly with pure water in a dream is based on the hadith: “Ablution upon ablution is light upon light.” It suggests spiritual illumination and peace of heart.
Dreaming of ablution also signifies the resolution of one’s needs in the presence of powerful people.
If the ablution is completed with clean water, the dreamer will attain their goals. If not completed, the dream has the opposite meaning.
Ablution with substances not permissible for purification (e.g., milk, honey) suggests falling into debt.
