According to Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (a.s.), reciting Ayat al-Kursi in a dream signifies that you will attain a high status or esteemed position.

Kirmani interprets this dream as follows:
If you are poor, you will gain wealth.
If you are ill, you will find healing.
If you are sad, you will experience joy.
If you are a prisoner or enslaved, you will be set free.

The Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) states:
To see yourself reciting Ayat al-Kursi or listening to it in a dream means you will be protected from worldly disasters and misfortunes. It also suggests a long life and the fulfillment of your wishes. If the dreamer is sick, they will recover.

According to Kirmani, one who sees themselves reading or listening to Ayat al-Kursi in a dream will gain respect and admiration among people.

As Ja'far al-Sadiq explains: such a person will have strong faith and a brilliant intellect.

Sayyid Suleyman quotes Ibn Kathir:
Anyone who sees themselves reciting Ayat al-Kursi—or hears it recited—will be safeguarded from calamities and will achieve their desires. If the person is sick or has a sick relative, they will regain health.

Ja'far al-Sadiq also states:
Their honor and status will rise, and people will show them great respect.

Abdulgani adds:
Their intelligence and memory will become sharper and stronger.
